U-M Maizey has been updated for the fall semester. U-M Maizey is a dynamic tool designed to enhance the GenAI experience for faculty and students by leveraging custom datasets. Maizey empowers users to extract valuable insights, discover patterns and gain deeper knowledge from the available datasets.
Canvas has made changes to site navigation for the Assign to function on Assignments, Discussions and Quizzes. Note this feature will return to the previous functionality some time in August or September. In addition, Canvas now allows instructors to assign ungraded discussions, modules and pages. Starting on August 14, 2024, we will be removing the Canvas Media Upload button from the Canvas Rich Content Editor (RCE). This change aims to encourage the use of MiVideo, our dedicated media management platform, which offers superior accessibility, video playback optimization, and storage capabilities.
