Duo Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) will be mandatory for all U-M students in Winter 2020

Starting January 29, 2020, Duo Two-factor Authentication will be required for every University of Michigan student on the Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint campuses:

All students required to use two-factor authentication by 2020

All U-M faculty and employees were required to enable Duo as of the last Winter 2019 term. In response, CAEN implemented the requirement of Duo authentication for all remote access services.

This upcoming change is separate and more wide-ranging, since all U-M students will be required to use Duo for U-M Weblogin services.
