CAEN Computing Lab EECS 2420 defaults to Linux environment when powered on
Due to the high use of Linux in EECS, computers in the EECS 2420 computing lab now default to the Linux environment when powered on. Users can easily reboot these computers into the Windows environment if needed. All other CAEN Computing Lab locations will continue to use Windows as their default boot environment.
CAEN Help Desk to end regular in-person support in Winter 2025
Starting Monday, March 3, 2025, the CAEN Help Desk walk-up location on the second floor of the Duderstadt Center will end regular in-person operations. Going forward, the Help Desk will provide in-person support for the first few weeks of each Fall and Winter term.
