Perusall is a social annotation tool for instructors designed to increase engagement, drive collaboration, and build community while motivating students to participate in assignments–even before coming to class. Students can ask questions if they don’t understand a concept and receive input from their peers.
Perusall works within Canvas and can also incorporate course content including books, articles, web pages, videos, podcasts, and images. Perusall offers an extensive library of textbook titles from leading publishers. While there is no charge to use Perusall, students may be required to purchase a course textbook if the instructor advises them to do so.*
Instructors and students can get support directly from Perusall by emailing [email protected] or filling out a form at https://support.perusall.com.
