New Campus-wide agreement for Ansys software products

The University recently signed a campus-wide agreement with Ansys. The agreement covers teaching and academic research use of a number of Ansys software products (including Lumerical and Zemax) that are now available to all College of Engineering faculty at no additional cost.

The Ansys products listed below may be used on university-owned computers for non-commercial, non-proprietary academic work.

The software products covered under the new agreement include:

  • Ansys Mechanical FEA

  • Ansys Fluent

  • Ansys CHEMKIN

  • Ansys Discovery

  • Ansys HFSS

  • Ansys STK

  • Ansys LS-Dyna

  • Ansys Zemax OpticStudio

  • Ansys Lumerical

  • Ansys Granta 

  • Ansys Thermal Desktop

  • Ansys ModelCenter

  • Ansys Maxwell

  • Ansys Rocky

  • Ansys Twinbuilder
