Winter 2023 Instructional Technology Workshops

CAEN and CRLT Engin have teamed up to bring you some workshops for the Winter 2023 semester. Please join representatives from CAEN, CRLT Engin, and other guests for the following workshops:

Building Better Quizzes with MiQuizMaker Tuesday February 21st, 2023 1PM-2PM
MiQuizMaker is an instructional tool that supports efficient development of quizzes that can be imported into Canvas. Users compose questions with multiple versions and combine question types (true/false, calculation-based, and others) to create a series of randomized quizzes so that each student in the class receives a unique quiz. This session will walk participants through the process of making and exporting a quiz and present ways to integrate this assessment tool in your teaching. https://myumi.ch/d9Gp6

Building Effective Teams in the Classroom with Tandem Wednesday March 8th, 2023 11AM-12PM
Tandem is a team development tool, created by the Center for Academic Innovation and the College of Engineering. Tandem aids instructors in creating, maintaining, and improving teamwork in the classroom. Join CRLT-Engin and CAEN as we welcome James Alexander, Software Ambassador, and Robin Fowler, faculty expert user, to explore applications of Tandem in engineering classes. https://myumi.ch/V7wxn
