University students can now get Microsoft Office at no cost

The University recently renegotiated its license agreement with Microsoft, and as a result it now includes Office 365 Education at no cost for U-M students, faculty, and staff. The Office 365 Education program includes downloadable copies of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other popular Microsoft applications; these products can be installed on up to 5 devices, including PCs, Macs, tablets, and other devices. The online version of Office 365 Education can be used on an unlimited number of devices. For more details, see the U-M Computer Showcase website.
