Research Computing: New cost-sharing options available to faculty

The College of Engineering is providing additional cost sharing for research computing with ARC HPC resources (Great Lakes and Armis2) to support externally funded research. CoE faculty who have used their U-M Research Computing Package (UMRCP) compute resources will become eligible for an 80% cost share account on Great Lakes and/or Armis2 (up to $12,500 — $10,000 CoE, $2,500 PI). The College will maintain its 44% cost share for Great Lakes and Armis2 usage for additional computing needs.

More information about this program and how to request the 80% cost share is available on the Research Computing section of the CAEN website. Contact the CAEN Research Computing staff with further questions at [email protected].
