Reminder: Duo Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) mandatory for all students starting January 29

This is a reminder that starting January 29, 2020, Duo will be required by the University for every U-M student on the Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint campuses. As background, last Winter 2019 all U-M faculty, staff, and student employees were required by the University to enable Duo two-factor authentication.

Many CoE students may already have Duo configured because CAEN implemented the requirement for Duo authentication on our remote access services back in Fall 2018. This upcoming change is separate, and more wide-ranging, since all U-M students will be required to use Duo for all U-M Weblogin services.

For more information about this requirement, and why it is important for data security, visit the ITS Use Two-Factor Authentication (Duo) website, and set up Duo today!
