New software must be installed in order to access Windows CLSE remotely

The method for remotely accessing the CAEN Lab Software Environment (CLSE) for Windows is changing. Effective October 8, 2013, it will no longer be possible to access the 2012 CLSE via the http://www.itcs.umich.edu/sites/labs/virtual.php website. The new connection method requires that you install the VMware View client, a separate software application that is available for you to download and install on your own computer. Instructions for accessing the 2013 CLSE using the VMware View client, and information about where to download the software for your personal computer, can be found on the web page:

For convenience, the VMware View client is currently installed in CAEN and ITS Sites computer labs. Windows and Mac OS X versions of the VMWare View client are available to download for your personal computers.
