Course Accessibility Challenge begins March 11

Would you like to learn how to make your course content more inclusive for students with disabilities? Sign up today to join the Course Accessibility Challenge, which starts March 11.

Engage in three weekly challenges delivered to your inbox, focused on different aspects of digital course accessibility. Then, participate in a live synchronous session to connect with peers and expand your knowledge.

  • Learn how to use the new Canvas accessibility checker, create accessible files, and add captions to video.
  • Receive instructor-oriented tips, resources, and examples.
  • Apply what you learn to enhance your own courses’ inclusivity and usability.

No prior knowledge or experience in digital accessibility is necessary. This is not the same as the 10-Week Accessibility Challenge — this challenge is shorter (3 weeks) and intended for faculty and instructional support staff and focused on course materials. If you have participated in the 10-Week Challenge before, this is a great opportunity to learn how to apply the fundamentals in the context of course content.
