The College of Engineering information technology (IT) environment is continually evolving, and developments occur regularly. In order to keep the College community informed about what is going on with IT around campus, CAEN posts regular updates on this site.
The process for running software applications on the CAEN Lab Software Environment (CLSE) for Windows available in computer labs and the remote desktop service will change in Fall 2015. Each time a student logs in, they will be presented with a website listing available software applications:

CAEN is sponsoring a compressed LabVIEW Core 1 and Core 2 training, including an attempt to pass the Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer Certification Exam. The training will be held July 13 through 16 in Ford Auditorium.

With contributions from the College of Engineering and other colleges, ITS has obtained a University-wide software license for a number of MathWorks products that are now available to U-M students at no cost. The University recently renegotiated its license agreement with Microsoft, and as a result it now includes Office 365 Education at no cost for U-M students, faculty, and staff.
