The campus site license for Materials Studio will expire on May 31, 2025, and will not be renewed. As a result, members of the College of Engineering community will no longer have access to Materials Studio through the university’s site license after this date.
CAEN has compiled a collection of open-source and no-cost alternatives to Materials Studio to assist users during this transition. Among these alternatives, Gaussian and LAMMPS are available on the computers in the CAEN Student Computing Labs.
